Fortis Clearing Americas is a 100% subsidiary of Fortis Bank Global Clearing N.V (FBGC).  FBGC is 100% owned by Fortis Bank Nederland, which is 100% owned by the Dutch state.  FBGC is headquartered in Amsterdam (the Netherlands).  FCA is the local branch office in Chicago.

FBGC is dedicated to servicing professional investors and has strategically located its branch offices near all the major Exchanges worldwide to be as near as possible to their customers and their trading business. By having that direct involvement where it counts most, FBGC has established itself as a prime clearing organization with global presence and local affection at the same time. FCA is valued as an important partner that accounts for approximately one fourth of the clearing activities of FBGC.

FBGC offices hold general clearing memberships on over 50 global derivatives and securities exchanges and provide access to 60 exchanges worldwide. Fortis Clearing Americas is a general clearing member on over 25 global exchanges including all major U.S. securities and derivatives exchanges with additional access to 19 other international exchanges via established third party relationships.
